Terms of use
Hua Hin Racket Sports (this website) is a free, volunteer-run
coordination platform for racket-sports players and venue owners
in Hua Hin, Thailand. We are not a venue, not a payment processor, not an
event organiser, and not a counterparty to any booking or payment that
happens via the platform.
1. What this platform does
- Lets players see what courts exist, when they're open, and who has booked.
- Lets players join open matches and chat about the match.
- Lets venue staff see who booked their slots and receive payment screenshots.
- Sends Telegram reminders about upcoming matches.
2. What this platform does NOT do
- We do not handle money. All payments are direct from player to venue (or between players) via PromptPay, cash, bank transfer, or whatever the parties agree.
- We do not verify identities, skills, or any claim a user makes about themselves.
- We do not guarantee that a booking will be honored by the venue, or that a player will show up.
- We do not insure injuries, equipment damage, theft, weather cancellations, or any other risk of physical activity.
- We do not resolve disputes between players or between players and venues.
3. Your responsibilities
- You confirm bookings and prices directly with the venue before showing up.
- You pay venues and other players the amounts you owe, by whatever method you've agreed.
- You assess your own fitness for the activity. Racket sports carry injury risk.
- You don't post abusive, fraudulent, or illegal content.
4. Venues
- Venues use this platform free of charge. You may keep your existing booking flow (phone, paper journal, your own website) — we don't replace it.
- You decide which bookings you accept. You can cancel a booking on your side; let the players know directly.
- "Receipt uploaded" notifications are informational. You are still responsible for confirming the payment landed in your account.
5. No warranty
This platform is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We make no promise it will be available, accurate, or free of bugs. We may change features at any time. We may stop running it without notice.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law, the operators of this platform are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of it — including but not limited to lost bookings, payment disputes, injuries, or equipment damage.
7. Data
- We store the minimum needed to run the platform: a cookie identifier, your chosen display name and skill level, the bookings you create or join, and chat messages you post in matches.
- Linked Telegram chat IDs are stored to send notifications and receive your commands.
- Payment screenshots you upload are stored to let venue staff verify payment.
- We do not sell data to third parties. We do not run third-party analytics.
- To request deletion of your data, contact us via the platform owner (see Mattermost or Telegram).
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. We will not retroactively apply a worse rule to existing bookings.
